Creek County’s own Dawg Pound featuring the one and only Mike “Road Dawg” Whinery. You’ll never know what to expect next whenever you visit the Dawg Pound. There’s something wrong with this guy... Here are some examples of the good times we have at the Dawg Pound, rockin’ with the Moccasin Bluff Band and hanging out with friends.

Dear Mikey,

We feel so blessed to have called you our friend. You have touched so many lives with kindness, humor, wisdom and courage. Our feeling of loss is beyond words and our lives are forever changed now that you’re gone. But your spirit lives on in our hearts and we have thousands of memories to hold on to for the rest of our lives.

We miss you and we will always love you.

The Slut Puppies

Ode to a Biker

On this old earth a biker’s run must end

But up in the clouds of Heaven it only begins

He will ride Heaven’s roads to places untold

On a beautiful bike made of solid gold

The wind in his face will be as cool as a summer breeze

And in his heart and mind he knows he is finally free

No he won’t have to ride Heaven’s roads alone

For this is a place many other bikers call home

They will all ride these golden roads up there

With souls as free as the birds in the air

In amazement the Angels watch as the bikers soar

On their lightning fast machines the sound of thunder roar

And as each and everyone passes through Heaven’s door

They’re on God’s beautiful tour that will last forever more.
